Jack Johns

Our committee and our members both thought the same, Jack is the club’s Trooper, our Vice Chairman is involved in everything, Nippers, Youth, Senior and Masters, always down the club coaching, fixing, doing or training, very well done on both awards.
Fiona Myers-Tonkin
🏆 Captains Cup
Our Captain awarded Fiona this award for all her efforts this summer, in particular looking after a Sandhoppers this summer, teaming up with Rachel on Ladies Night and her massive effort organising and looking after everyone for their accommodation and meals for the Branksome week. An amazing effort this summer.
Charlie Haynes
🥇Open Competitor of the Year
A successful Nationals medaling in the surf race and winning the team races with the club and a member of the iconic six man taplin. Charlie represented Team GB at the European Championships and won the Board Rescue and three individual medals. Another great season of racing.
Hanna Brixton
🏆 Master of the Year
A great first season for Hanna, got involved with everything, volunteering, officiating and joined the committee. Dedicated to training in both summer and winter, paid off with success in the teams at the National Masters Championships, Hanna also competed at the Cornish and the Open Nationals. A great first season with the club.
Herbie aka Steve Hancock
🏆Masters Master
Known in the club as ‘Mr Motivator’, Herbie takes on the task of looking after our masters, he does a great job all year round with circuits and swimming in the winter and beach/ocean training in the summer. Herbie is also rapid on the sand and was part of our successful National Masters Team. Another great year for Herbie.
David Green
🥇Master Competitor of the Year
Current World, European & British Masters Surf Ski Champion, David also won the Ironman at the European Masters Championships and a great National Masters winning Swim, Board, Ski & Ironman. David was also part of the winning 6 man Taplin at the Open.

Another great year for the club, we have already planned to have the 2024 Presentation Evening at an Open & Masters end of season party in early November 2024
