Your Club needs You.
With over 200 active members in Portreath SLSC we do need to increase the number of Club Coaches and Trainers so that we can deliver training sessions as required by our Insurance and in a safe environment.
SLSGB and SLS Cornwall run coaching courses throughout the year for those with no coaching experience, the courses are advertised on Facebook and the website.
If you have Coaching experience at club level you could fast track to a Level 1 Assistant Coach.
Application for Fast Track to SLSGB Level 1 Assistant Coach:
Pre- requisites:
- Current membership to SLSGB
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Be able to submit evidence of coaching at club level for a minimum of 1 year
- Current DBS check completed through SLSGB
- Paid the £12 Fast Track fee
Statement from Club Committee member or qualified Level 2 Coach (Chairman, Training Officer, Level 2 Coach, Trainer Assessor etc)
Application for Recognition of Prior Learning SLSGB level 2 Lead Coach:
- Current membership to SLSGB
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Hold an existing and valid UKCC/governing Body Level 2 Coaching qualification
- £30 RPL fee
