Portreath SLSC AGM

Dear Member,

The 2017 AGM has been re-scheduled due  to the low turn out of members on the 15th October, as a charity we are run solely by volunteers who enable the club to grow, compete and carry out safe working practices all year round so we can successfully all enjoy the club that we know and love today.

As a charitable organisation we are governed by our constitution and the guidelines from the charity commission. This means that once per year we must hold a AGM where a) the retiring committee will present an overview on the current club status for your approval b) You have the opportunity to vote in your new committee c) you have the chance to air your voice on the club’s path / future.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 12th November 2017 at 2pm whereby our current committee will all stand down and all positions are open for nominations.

Voting is restricted to full members over the age of 18.

If you would like to nominate yourself or another member for any of the following positions please complete the nomination form and email to me, deadline for nominations is 5th November 2017.  A full job description for each of the roles is available.
